Hennessey is a Project Coordinator at the ICHR. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health at the University of Alberta with a focus on Indigenous maternal health. Hennessey is incredibly passionate about the provision of culturally relevant health services and the role of community based research in reducing health inequity. She has an MSc in Global Health with a specialization in Disasters & Adaptation and is a member of the Circumpolar Maternal and Child Health Working Group. She has recently moved to Yellowknife with her dog and is excited to make the North her home.
